The Flora Family
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. I John 4:15-17

Finally!
Ok so this blog has been EXTREMELY quiet lately, but life here sure hasn't been! :-) We've celebrated 3 birthdays, 2 major holidays, an orchestra concert, sledding, bowling, and a quick family vacation to Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri. So, without further adieu, here is a quick overview of the last 4 months

Christmas 2010
This year was a very special time for our family for two extremely big reasons! 1.) Kylie Joy Flora was able to celebrate her very first Christmas with the entire family. 2.) Josh was able to fly up from Florida to spend some time with us so we were able to get some family pics with the ENTIRE family present! That hasn't happened for 6 YEARS!!! We had a wonderful time with family and lots of food, and of course...we passed Kylie around so that everyone could hold her :)
The proud parents of two very special girls.
Jake got this funny pic of me because I didn't know he knew how to run my camera so I wasn't really prepared for the flash to go off. Lol.
Here, we have a very "Outrageous" game of "Rage" going on.
Some big brother time for Kayla. She hasn't been able to do that in awhile.
James was able to come over on Sunday to play games with us. Hopfully there wasn't any cheating...ahem...discussing going on between those two. Lol
More "Rage".
Aunt Krista holding Kylie.
Sunday night, we were able to get this amazing four generation picture. Isn't that cool?
The first cousin shot since before Josh and Jake left for boot-camp.
The ENTIRE Flora family.
Now this is the ENTIRE "Chambers" family with the grandparents at the center and the daughters and their families on either side.

Ft Scott- candlelight tour
This past Friday, we had the opportunity to travel up to Fort Scott, KS to attend their annual candlelight tour. The Lingg family was able to join us and we carpooled up to a mutual friend's house, Ron Puterbaugh who is the police chief of the Fort. All the 'young people' went downstairs to take advantage of the ping pong table, Foosball table and snacks.
I'm not sure what the name of this game is, but basically, it's 4-square on a ping pong table and instead of hitting the ball, you have to blow it without letting it touch your face.
Justin, David, Krista, and James
Later, some of the 'older folks' came down and joined us for an invigorating game of 'Taboo'.
Before the tour, we went to Pizza Hut for supper.
Angela, Abby and Anna
And we'll end with a picture of 'the couple'. :-)
